I’m running a 15 week programme called RUNEUAI that leads people through a process of creating practical workflows with AI. The first challenge I’m facing concerns how to build a workflow that elegantly shares content into the channels where students currently visit.
I asked the RUNEUAI students where they discovered information about this EU-funded academic programme.
- Most of the incoming students learned about the programme from a website. So I'm going to assume once they will visit websites that they trust. For this reason, I plan to post weekly notes at the top of the RUNEUAI page on my Topgold website. I will cross-post the weekly notes on my Topgold Microblog under the category 'workflow'.
- Several students heard via email. So I'm going to create a weekly mailshot using a service provided by Ghost. This service runs as part of my service with Topgold.ie
- Word of mouth was the third most commonly cited source of information. I'm encouraging students to follow me on Bluesky and on LinkedIn where I will share content with the #RUNEUAI hashtag.
Microblog automates part of this information workflow because it pushes out a short summary to both Bluesky and Threads. I need to tweak the vibe for each of the information channels. For the moment, that means I will be keeping the human touch active in the middle of producing content for web, for email, and for short form social media.
