While listening to Patrick Browne and Padraig Ó Catháin explain how they’ve leveraged AI to enhance their teaching, I learned a few things about prompting Google Gemini to generate a syllabus, to export the by-product as an Excel file and then to create a mail shot from part of the result.

The group of business lecturers who attended the event now have an outcomes-based process for more efficient course development. I believe all of the teaching staff in TUS should consider this ingenious workflow.

In mid-May, I’m part of a team that will run a five hour hands-on “AI for Business Educators” in Limerick. Frances O’Donnell and I will expand the workshop we delivered in Valencia to incorporate learning objectives that complement a new AI for Business academic degree.
