It’s quiet time during a Christmas holiday break and I’m delighted to be able to remember people who shared ideas about productivity with me that helped me become more productive. Several of those ideas are in the photo acompanying this post.
In 2016, Greg Dickson in Alberta recommended the gold metallic Brydge 7.9 Bluetooth keyboard that I’ve used for the past eight years to type on small screens like my 5yo Samsung Note 9 right now.
In 2022, I heard Jaime Rivera say the Samsung Galaxy Flip 4 phone sounded promising so I got my wife one for Christmas. This year I extended her enjoyment of the format by giving her a Samsung Flip 6 and she’s handing me her time-tested Flip 4.
In April 2024, I heard Thomas Heaton slating the Osmo Pocket 3 camera so I rang a former student in Harvey Norman of Waterford to reserve one. Aine Phelan saved me one behind the counter and I’ve used it with Dylan to create dozens of video stories this year.
I wonder what new clever tech 2025 will bring. I think we need something with on-board AI.
