Trump appeared frustrated, interrupting himself and making unsubstantiated claims, such as linking low global crime rates to high U.S. crime rates and insisting on seeing something about eating dogs on TV. Harris, in contrast, presented her campaign’s economic agenda and directly challenged Trump on his handling of security and election loss. She also emphasized her work on immigration and her stance on abortion. Harris won this debate soundly. If this was European football, Harris would have won 8-0. She prevailed in every exchange and turned personal questions into a discussion about the country. Trump needs to get ready to wear an orange jump suit.
