Since 7 July 2024, European safety regulations mean that all new cars will be fitted with Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) which will alert drivers when they are going faster than the limit and encourage them to slow down. There will be a beep, the steering wheel will vibrate and, if all else fails, the accelerator wl automatically push back.
