Some researchers combed through a decade of data on road accidents in the US. They found that females tend to die more and have more injuries in car accidents. The odds of female drivers wearing their seatbelts having a serious injury are 47% higher than their male counterparts. This is because of safety features that are designed with men inmind. The position of the headrest, for example, doesn’t offer the best support for a smaller neck.
